Photos access and processing
PhotoLite scans the photos you permit through Apple’s Photos permission controls, or processes images you choose to import from Photos or Files. It uses image content and metadata to display thumbnails, organize your library, measure file sizes, compare images, and create compressed, converted or resized copies. PhotoLite does not upload your photos or library to a developer-operated server.
Scanning keeps asset references rather than copying your entire library. Processing a selected iCloud original may cause Apple to download it to your device. Apple’s services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy. Exports omit source location and camera metadata.
Data stored on your device
The photo index, imported copies, exports, comparison source copies, export history, settings, and daily free allowance are stored locally. PhotoLite’s working library is excluded from device backups. Manage storage removes selected app-owned files and cleans up files no longer referenced by the library or history. Saving a result to Photos does not automatically remove PhotoLite’s internal copies.
Permissions and deletion
You choose which photos PhotoLite can access. Saving creates a new copy; originals are never automatically deleted. After saving, you can review eligible originals and explicitly confirm moving them to Recently Deleted. This deletion also syncs through iCloud Photos. PhotoLite does not empty Recently Deleted. Local comparison copies remain until their app files are removed.
Manage Photos permissions in iOS Settings. Removing the app removes its local app data; copies already saved to Photos or Files remain. Save exports you want to keep before removing app-owned copies or uninstalling PhotoLite.
Purchases
Apple handles subscriptions, payments and purchase restoration through your Apple Account. PhotoLite uses verified StoreKit purchase information to determine whether Pro is active. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple may provide the developer with App Store sales and financial reports under its policies. Deleting PhotoLite does not cancel a subscription.
Reminders, tracking and analytics
Optional weekly reminders are local notifications, are off by default, and require your permission. PhotoLite has no advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, cross-app tracking, or developer-operated analytics server. Local app data is not collected by the developer through the app.
Support communications
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use that information to respond and investigate your request. Please avoid sending private photos, payment details or other sensitive information. Support messages are retained only as needed to handle your request and applicable legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion of your support correspondence.
This website
PhotoLite’s product, support, privacy and terms pages are hosted on kiamcotech.com using Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. These PhotoLite pages contain no advertising, analytics scripts, forms, or embedded tracking services added by us. The hosting provider processes technical request information, such as IP addresses and requested pages, to deliver and secure the website. The main Kiamco Tech homepage may load fonts or images from external providers, which receive requests to deliver those resources. Email links open your email application.
Children
PhotoLite does not request age information or knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app. If a child has sent personal information in a support message, contact us to request its removal.
