Processing and your photos
PhotoLite creates compressed, converted or resized copies of images you choose. Results depend on the source and settings; a smaller file is not guaranteed. Re-encoding can change detail and color, and exports omit source location and camera metadata. Live Photos and multi-image HEIC files export as single still images. Only process media you have the right to use.
Compare the result before sharing or removing an original. Originals are never deleted automatically. Any supported original deletion requires your explicit confirmation after a saved copy is verified. Deletion syncs through iCloud Photos and moves originals to Recently Deleted. App storage cleanup removes selected internal files; keep external copies of exports you need.
Free use and PhotoLite Pro
Scanning and previews are unlimited. Free use includes five successful photo exports each day. Each successful image in a batch counts once, including a conversion that produces a larger file. Failed exports do not count. Saving and sharing existing results are unlimited. PhotoLite Pro Annual removes the daily photo-processing limit while your subscription is active.
The annual plan has a U.S. base price of $4.99 per year. Apple displays the applicable local price before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Manage, cancel or restore
Manage or cancel through iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Use Restore purchases in PhotoLite Settings with the Apple Account used for the purchase. See Apple’s cancellation instructions. For refund requests, visit Apple’s purchase support.
